Abigail Pershing is a third-year J.D. candidate at Yale Law School. She is particularly interested in big global challenges, including mass migration, climate change, and wealth inequality. During her time in law school, Abigail has worked on civil rights issues in Mississippi with the Mississippi Center for Justice; nuclear testing, indigenous rights, and climate change with Blue Ocean Law; international development finance mediation with Accountability Counsel; and humanitarian law with Doctors Without Borders. Before law school, Abigail served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal, West Africa. She received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and Public Policy from the University of Chicago in 2014.
