Where did you go to college and what did you major in?
Stanford '16; History and Political Science

Tell us about your prior work experience
Prior to law school, I was a fellow at the ACLU of San Diego and Imperial Counties for two years working on money bail reform.

What is your favorite thing to do in New Haven?
Riding my bike along the Canal Trail, hiking in East Rock park, and eating pizza.

What is your favorite restaurant in New Haven?
BAR!

What student groups, journals, and/or clinics have you been involved in?
First Generation Professionals, Latinx Law Students Association, Criminal Justice Clinic, Advanced Sentencing Clinic, San Francisco Affirmative Litigation Project

What has been your favorite class at YLS?
Capital Punishment with Stephen Bright. That's the number one class everyone at YLS should take.

What are your career aspirations? 
I want to become a federal public defender and continue working in public interest.

What do you like most about working for the Admissions Office?
I love connecting with prospective students and recently admitted students. As a first gen college student and first gen professional, I would not have made it through the admissions process without the advice and mentorship of others, and I love to provide that same support to incoming students.
