Revisiting the Woodward Report: Free Expression on College Campuses
The center’s inaugural event was held on Feb. 14, 2025, titled "Revisiting the Woodward Report: Free Expression on College Campuses." The event marked the 50th anniversary of the Woodward Report, a landmark document in the history of free speech at American universities. The report was produced at Yale University by a committee chaired by the historian C. Vann Woodward and is formally titled, “Report of the Committee on Freedom of Expression at Yale.
