Corresponding Scholars Network

Through its Corresponding Fellows Network, the center aims to become a hub of private law scholarship for the broader legal academy, both domestically and abroad. In order to build a more sustained dialogue on the evolution of private law scholarship, the center selected its inaugural cohort of corresponding fellows in 2024, scholars from around the world whose ideas will enrich the center. The corresponding fellows include today’s leading experts in contract, property, and tort theory as well as emerging voices in these fields.

At present, the Corresponding Fellows Network consists chiefly of an occasional newsletter and listserv that enables fellows to share news, opportunities, and in-progress scholarship of interest with the community. In addition, by connecting scholars across different stages of their academic careers, the network serves a source of input and feedback for junior scholars and students on scholarly projects in areas of shared interest with senior scholars. Participation as a corresponding fellow also enables virtual or in-person participation in center events.

If you are a private law scholar interested in joining the Corresponding Fellows Network, please write to us at private.law@yale.edu with a brief biography or CV.
