Ignacio Cofone

Ignacio Cofone is a J.S.D. candidate at Yale Law School and a Research Fellow at NYU's Information Law Institute. He studied law at Austral University (BAR Award for academic excellence), earned an M.A. in Economic Analysis of Law from the Universities of Bologna and Hamburg (with distinction), obtained a joint Ph.D. from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Hamburg University in the framework of the European Doctorate in Law and Economics, where he was an Erasmus Mundus Fellow, and received an LL.M. from Yale Law School. Ignacio has worked as a legal advisor to the government of the City of Buenos Aires, and has taught at Yale University (Teaching Fellow), Erasmus University Rotterdam, the University of Buenos Aires, the University of Palermo, and Torcuato Di Tella University. His research focuses on information privacy law and behavioral economics.
