Ellen Scalettar is a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School. She recently served two terms as the First Selectman of the Town of Woodbridge, Connecticut, and previously served as Director of Policy, Research, and Legislation for the Connecticut Senate President Pro Tem and the Connecticut Senate Democrats. She has held senior policy positions with Connecticut Voices for Children and the Connecticut State Treasurer’s Office, and represented the 114th House District in the Connecticut General Assembly. Scalettar holds degrees from the University of Maryland School of Law and the City College of New York.
