Emily Ji is a senior at Yale College, studying Computer Science and Economics. She has interned as a software engineer at Facebook, where she worked on WhatsApp’s mobile payment service. From this experience, she developed an interest in data policy and privacy, especially in regard to the digital economy. She is also interested in the risks and benefits of artificial intelligence and how artificial intelligence intersects with the law. Outside of ISP, Emily has served as the Finance Manager for YHack, Yale’s annual student hackathon, and an Associate Editor for The Politic, an undergraduate student publication.
