Graham Hardcastle is an ISP Student Fellow for the 2021–2022 academic year. As a Yale senior studying both Computer Science and Economics, he is deeply interested in exploring the ways in which law, technology, and economics intersect. This past year, he has worked in the Yale Law School Center for the Study of Corporate Law as a student researcher under Professor Roberta Romano, studying the relationship between financial regulation and banking crises from 1929–2008. As a fellow at ISP, Graham hopes to leverage his background in computer science and finance to explore the ways in which artificial intelligence, machine learning, and fintech impact intellectual property law and patent law.
Originally from Gainesville, Florida, Graham enjoys watching his hometown Florida Gators win in football, as well as enjoys trying to make sense of Christopher Nolan’s latest movie. Feel free to email him at email@example.com to talk about anything related to ISP, computer science, finance, or sports!
