Jessica Soojian is a Visiting Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School. Soojian practices as a Partner in the Trusts, Estates, and Tax-Exempt Organizations Department of Milbank LLP, where she works with ultra-high net worth clients on matters of estate and succession planning, governance, taxation, and philanthropy. Her clients include private equity principals, hedge fund principals, entrepreneurs, artists, and art collectors, as well as their family offices and foundations. Prior to joining Milbank, Soojian was part of the Personal Representation department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and thereafter was a partner and the head of the Trusts and Estates practice of a prominent art law boutique. A Member and Guest Lecturer of the Committee on Estate and Gift Taxation of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Soojian has co-authored various articles and is a frequent lecturer, with a particular focus on planning with art. Soojian is a 2006 graduate of Yale Law School, where she was a Director of the Nonprofit Organizations Clinic, and a 2002 graduate of Georgetown University (A.B., Art History, summa cum laude).
