- Blockchain and Digital Assets: A New Birth for Trust?
Kevin Werbach is a Visiting Professor of Law at Yale Law School and the Liem Sioe Liong / First Pacific Company Professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Since 2021, he has served as Chair of the Wharton School’s Department of Legal Studies and Business Ethics, as well as Director of the Wharton Blockchain and Digital Asset Project. From 2008–2009, Werbach co-led the Obama-Biden Transition Project’s review of the Federal Communications Commission, for which he had earlier served as Counsel for New Technology Policy. In 2009, he was an Advisor to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Werbach founded the Supernova Group, which advises corporate and governmental clients, and created one of the most successful massively open online courses, with more than 500,000 enrollments. He is the author, co-author, or editor of four books and numerous articles on emerging technology issues.
