Leslie Qi Lei
I am Qi Lei, an LLM candidate at YLS. I graduated from Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar with a master’s degree in law and finance, and I did my undergraduate studies at Peking University Law School. I have previously served as a summer associate at the International Monetary Fund, providing analytical work covering the regulations over crypto currencies and stablecoins. And I provided research for the Supreme People’s Court in China, State Admission for Market Regulation, and the Shanghai Stock Exchange. I have always been interested in technology, its impact on human behavior and interactions, and how we should govern it as a society. I am mainly focused on privacy protection and governance through technology, and I hope to bring political, cultural and socioeconomic perspectives into my analysis.
