Dr. Lu Liu is a lecturer in the Law School of China Women’s University in Beijing, where she teaches public international law and international economic law.  She received her LL.M from Stockholm University in international commercial arbitration law and a PhD in international law from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.  Her recent research and publications have addressed various international and comparative investment and commercial arbitration topics. 

While at the Paul Tsai China Center, Dr. Liu will further her research on the relationship between China’s administrative law and its international investment treaty obligations, using regulatory takings and public participation as two case studies.
