Marianne Engelman Lado is a Florence Rogatz Visiting Professor of Law at Yale Law School. She is currently a Senior Staff Attorney at Earthjustice, where her work focuses on civil rights enforcement in the environmental context as well as toxics, waste, industrial agriculture, and the effects of environmental contamination on vulnerable populations. She previously served for ten years as General Counsel at New York Lawyers for Public Interest, and worked for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. She has previously taught at Columbia Law School, the School of Law at Seton Hall University, and the School of Public Affairs at Baruch College.
