Nicholas Rostow is a Senior Research Scholar in Law at Yale Law School. He is also University Counsel and Vice Chancellor for Legal Affairs at The State University of New York, a tenured full professor in the University, and a University Fellow at SUNY’s Levin Institute of International Relations and Commerce. Rostow joined SUNY after having served in senior Federal and State government positions. He has held a number of academic posts as well. He earned his B.A., M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from Yale and his J.D. from Yale Law School. His publications are in the fields of diplomatic history, international law, and issues of U.S. national security and foreign policy.
