Roman Leal

Student Fellow

Roman Leal is a J.D. candidate at Yale Law School, Class of 2022. His research focuses on the First Amendment, platform governance, anonymous internet speech, targeted behavioral advertising, facial recognition technology, and the intersection of race and technology. He is a Forum Editor on the Yale Law Journal, the Academics Chair of the Latinx Law Students Association, a Student Representative for the Class of 2022, a Knight Law and Media Scholar, and an aspiring Python developer. Before attending law school, Roman founded and ran a nationally acclaimed coffee roasting company written about in Thrillist and Men's Journal.
