Centers & Workshops

A variety of the Law School’s centers and workshops, lecture series, and special events deal specifically with constitutional law issues. Endowed lectures like the Ralph Gregory Elliot First Amendment Lectureship, and occasional Dean’s Lectures, invite distinguished scholars to the Law School to discuss current issues in constitutional law. In addition, student organizations like chapters of the American Constitution Society and the Federalist Society often provide spirited debate during public events held at the Law School.

Special events like the Global Constitutionalism Seminar offer an unparalleled opportunity for students to sit in on discussions with Supreme Court and Constitutional Court judges from around the world.

And students have numerous opportunities to experience the Constitution in action, by spending parts of the school year and the summer months working at law firms, volunteering for political campaigns, and working in the Law School’s clinical programs.
