Service Employees International Union (SEIU) v. Scott

On March 13, 2026, Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and four union members filed a federal lawsuit in the District of Massachusetts to challenge U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s unlawful revocations of Customs seals — a form of airport security clearance — which is forcing thousands of work-authorized immigrant workers out of their jobs at airports nationwide. SEIU and the four individual plaintiffs are represented by students and faculty from the Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic (WIRAC).
