Trace C. Vardsveen

Trace C. Vardsveen is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Law and Social Science at Yale Law School’s Justice Collaboratory. His research is situated at the intersection of psychology and law. In particular, he is interested in developing and applying social and cognitive psychological theories to investigate and improve the criminal justice system specifically and the legal system more broadly. He holds a M.A. and Ph.D. in Social and Cognitive Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, along with a J.D. from the Nebraska College of Law. Additionally, he received a B.F.A. in Film and New Media from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a M.St. in Film Aesthetics from the University of Oxford.
