Varsha Raghavan is an undergraduate student at Yale College, class of 2020, pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science and certificate in Energy Studies. She is intrigued by the philosophical and moral ramifications of the progression of technology and how legal structures will come into play. Her academic career at Yale has been oriented around exploring these interests, and projects she has undertaken showcase her hope to develop and utilize technology for global improvement, including strengthening the environment and promoting technological accessibility.
At Yale, Varsha spends her time being a course assistant for computer science courses, dancing as part of the Yale Kalaa, hosting a joint radio show, and working on private projects in machine shops. Prior to Yale, Varsha was heavily invested in FIRST Robotics, law and business competitions, and digital video production.
