Solomon Center Releases Report on Work of 2025–26 Student Fellows
The Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy at Yale Law School issued a report this week on the achievements and honors of its 2025–26 student fellows.
Every year, the Solomon Center welcomes a class of distinguished student fellows engaged in both research and the Center’s extensive programming. This year’s cohort of 135 fellows was comprised of students from Yale Law School, Yale School of Medicine, Yale School of Management, Yale School of Public Health, Yale School of Nursing, Yale Divinity School, Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and Yale College.
The report details a broad range of accomplishments, from student-initiated research projects to publications to policy leadership. Collectively, Solomon Center student fellows undertook 68 original research projects and published 83 articles in top academic journals and media outlets — including, but not limited to, The Yale Law Journal; The Lacent; JAMA; Cell; Health Affairs; the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics; NEJM AI; the Yale Journal on Regulation; STAT; and numerous others. Fellows also pursued a wide array of policy projects, from global health missions at UNICEF, to research on Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act at the Urban Institute, to testifying before the Connecticut General Assembly on pending health legislation.
Many fellows received recognition for their work. The 2025–26 class includes winners of this year’s Gates Cambridge Scholarship, Fulbright Scholarship, Susman Godfrey Prize, Farber Fellowship, Yale School of Public Health Henry J. (Sam) Chauncey Jr. Inspiration Award, and LEAP Student Grant Program Award, among others.
