Yale Law School Commencement to be Held May 18

Yale Law School will honor members of the Class of 2026 with its Commencement celebration on May 18 in New Haven.

The day begins with Yale University’s 325th Commencement ceremony, where deans will present their candidates to the president and honorary degrees will be conferred. Before that ceremony, Law School graduate candidates will process from Sterling Law Building to Beinecke Plaza, led by the Mattatuck Drum Band, before continuing to Old Campus.

Immediately following the University’s Commencement, Law School graduates and guests will make their way to the Payne Whitney Gymnasium where a diploma ceremony will be held at the Lanman Center. Dean Cristina M. Rodríguez ’00 will deliver opening remarks, followed by an address by the William K. Townsend Professor of Law and Professor of History Nicholas R. Parrillo ’04.

The event will conclude with a reception for Law School graduates and their invited guests in the Baker Hall Courtyard.

Tickets are required for both the University and Law School ceremonies.
