YLS Community Presents Petition in Protest of Don't Ask Don't Tell to JAG Recruiters
On August 20 and 21, 2009, JAG Recruiters from the Air Force and Navy came to recruit as part of the Fall Interview Program. The OutLaws and the Law Vets used the opportunity to present the recruiters with a petition in protest of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", which over 200 members of the YLS Community signed, including numerous faculty and staff. The petition called on Congress and the President to repeal the discriminatory law and allow all citizens, regardless of sexual orientation, to serve their country as a member of the prestigious and honorable JAG corps. You can view the petition here.
