YLS Corporate Law Center Roundtable to assess impact of Dodd-Frank Act

Scholars, legal practitioners, members of the financial community and policymakers will meet at Yale Law School Friday, April 1, to assess the impact of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act on financial institutions, among other pressing questions related to the financial crisis.



The Weil, Gotshal and Manges Roundtable on Assessing Dodd-Frank is co-sponsored by the Yale Law School Center for the Study of Corporate Law, the Yale Law and Business Society, and the Yale Journal on Regulation



The program runs from 9:45 a.m. to 4:05 p.m., and will consist of four discussions:

• Where are we in the financial crisis?

• What is the impact of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act on financial institutions?

• How should we manage the collapse in housing and the securitized mortgage market?

• What are the implications of the housing crisis for an economic recovery?
