Description

The Yale Law School Center for the Study of Corporate Law invites you to the 2019-2020 Weil, Gotshal & Manges Roundtable, which will also serve as the Society of Investment Law’s twelfth annual Investment Fund Roundtable.  The Roundtable will focus on investment funds in commemoration of John Bogle, the founder of The Vanguard Group.  

* Papers and readings for the panel discussions will be posted to the Center's website by Thursday, November 21, 2019.

** Breakfast and lunch will be provided.  New York State CLE credits will also be available, as described further below.  Please register by Monday, December 2, 2019.

Fleming, President and Chief Executive Officer, Rockefeller Capital Management; Jasmin Sethi, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Sethi Clarity Advisers; Aron Szapiro, Director of Policy Research, Morningstar, Inc.; and Dirk A. Zetzsche, Professor in Financial Law and ADA Chair in Financial Law and Inclusive Finance, University of Luxembourg. 

  • CLE Credit

Yale Law School has been certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board as an Accredited Provider of CLE programs.  The following credits are available:

  • 1.5 CLE credit hours in Professional Practice for attending the entirety of Panel Discussion I: Index Investing from 9:35 am to 11:00 am.
  • 1.5 CLE credit hours in Professional Practice for attending the entirety of Panel Discussion II: Exchange-Traded Funds from 11:15 am to 12:40 pm. 
  • 1.5 CLE credit hours in Professional Practice for attending the entirety of the Panel Discussion III: The Future of Asset Management from 1:40 pm to 3:05 pm.

The above CLE credit hours are appropriate for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys. Preregistration is required for CLE credit; please tell us whether you would like CLE credit when you RSVP.  You must be present for the entirety of the panel discussion to receive CLE credit for that discussion; we cannot give CLE credit for partial discussion attendance. We intend to post CLE reading materials on the Center’s website (https://ccl.yale.edu/activities/roundtables) no later than Thursday, November 21, 2019
