The Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy invites you to join us for another installation in our the year-long series on The ADA @ 30. We will be joined by leading experts in disability law to discuss the future of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- Jasmine E. Harris '05 is a Professor of Law and Martin Luther King, Jr. Hall Research Scholar at the University of California—Davis School of Law. Professor Harris is an expert in disability law, antidiscrimination law, and evidence. Professor Harris’s recent articles have or will appear in such publications as the Columbia Law Review, New York University Law Review, University of Pennsylvania Law Review (print and online), Yale Law Journal Forum, Cornell Law Review Online, American Journal of Law and Medicine, and the Journal of Legal Education. Professor Harris also writes frequently about disability and equality law for popular audiences.
- Elizabeth Pendo is a specialist in disability law, bioethics and the law, and health law and policy. Her scholarship focuses on the difference disability makes in places in our society such as the health care system and the workplace, with a particular interest in legal and social meanings of disability. Her work has been published in law reviews and peer-reviewed journals including Health Affairs, New England Journal of Medicine, Yale Journal of Health Policy and Ethics, Journal of Law, Medicine and Ethics, The Hastings Center Report, Wake Forest Law Review, U.C. Davis Law Review and Utah Law Review
