Judge Robert A. Katzmann, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, will discuss the role of the Immigrant Justice Corps in delivering quality immigration legal service and in training the next generation of leading immigration practitioners. He will also explain the application and selection process and answer questions.
The IJC offers 25 two-year fellowships at great organizations in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Texas, including the Legal Aid Society, Bronx Defenders, Brooklyn Defender Services, Urban Justice Center, and Sanctuary for Families. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in immigration law. The application deadline is October 11, 2019.
