Please join us for a discussion of political polarization and instability in Peru. Many predict that recently elected President Pedro Castillas will not finish his term, a fate he would share with his four predecessors. Come learn about the dynamics and factors behind the instability with LLM students Millie Mutsios and Lucia Rodrigo and JSD student Fernando Loayza, who will focus on the problems caused by institutional solutions found for previous dilemmas, the pertinence of the country's natural resources, and social movements.
Participation is capped at 20 and the conversation will continue over sandwiches in the courtyard. Please contact the organizer to reserve your space (and sandwich)
