Open to the YLS Community Only

Have you counted yourself out from the clerkship process because you don’t see the value, you think you cannot afford a year “off,” or you think you are unqualified? This panel is for you. Are you excited to apply for clerkships and want to gather more information? This panel is also for you. Four Yale Law School graduates—all former federal law clerks, three of whom are federal judges—will share their candid insights about the clerkship-application process, the clerkship experience, and the benefits of clerkships for all YLS students. Judge Holly A. Thomas of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (YLS ’04) will moderate the panel. She will be joined by Judge Jennifer Sung of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (YLS ‘04), Judge Rebecca Goodgame Ebinger of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa (YLS ‘04), and Mr. Kenneth Trujillo-Jamison (YLS ‘11), a partner at Willenken LLP who served as a law clerk for Judge Paul Watford in 2016-2017. Please come with your questions.

This is a virtual webinar held via Zoom which is open only to current YLS students and will not be recorded. Students must register via Zoom https://yale.zoom.us/j/98356681310. Students who RSVP by midnight Eastern on Sunday, April 16 will receive a GrubHub voucher.
