Join the Chae Initiative in Private Sector Leadership as we welcome back to campus Frank Jimenez ’91, current Group Vice President and General Counsel of GE Healthcare, a leading global medical technology, pharmaceutical diagnostics, and digital solutions innovator, where he leads their Global Law and Policy Teams.
In conversation with lecturer-in-law Luke Bronin ’06, Frank will share his journey from Cuban refugee to Yale Law School, and how he made the transition from private practice at a Miami law firm to government, including his prior role as General Counsel of the Navy under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Topics will include: differences in leading as a General Counsel in the private sector vs. government; how a leader balances personal beliefs with actions on behalf of the company; and his views on acquiring and managing talent.
