Omar Dajani ’97 is Professor of Law and Co-Director of the University of the Pacific Law School’s Global Center for Business & Development and Dr. Yael Berda is Associate Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at Hebrew University.
Dajani and Berda will discuss their work as board members of A Land For All (ALFA) — a movement based on the values of equality and mutual self-determination and advocating a vision of “two states, one homeland,” in which a Palestinian state is established alongside Israel in a confederal framework with freedom of movement and residence for all.
The discussion will center on how they came together to pursue shared work seeking solutions in the Middle East and forged a friendship through their mutual recognition of the importance of bridging divides to find lasting peace.
This event will be moderated by Professor Aslı Ü. Bâli ’ 99, Professor of Law, and Professor Samuel Moyn, Chancellor Kent Professor of Law and History.
