Description

David Marshall is Justice Advisor in the Peace and Stabilization Operations Program at Global Affairs Canada, and a Visiting Fellow at the Schell Center for International Human Rights.  He has worked for twenty years on human rights law, policies and investigations. David was a UN team leader on accountability issues in Iraq including mass graves and a UN team leader on human rights investigation in South Sudan and he was Human Rights Advisor to UN mission in Kosovo.  David is the Editor/author of The International Rule of Law Movement: A Crisis of Legitimacy and the Way Forward (Harvard University Press, 2014). He is a graduate of Leeds University and Harvard Law School.
