Marbre Stahly-Butts, Executive Director of Law for Black Lives, works closely with organizers, lawyers and legal advocates to build a responsive legal infrastructure for movement organizations and to advance and actualize radical policy. Marbre is a founding member of the National Bail Out Collective, the organization behind the Free Black Mama’s Movement. She also was a founding member of the and Movement For Black Lives Policy Table and helped develop the Vision for Black Lives Policy Platform. Since graduating from Yale Law School six years ago, Marbre has supported local and national organizations from across the country in their policy development and advocacy.
