Judge Training for Marshall-Brennan Spring High School Moot Court Competition

Description

On Friday, February 28th, high school students from around New Haven will come to Yale Law School to compete at the Spring High School Moot Court Competition, organized by the Marshall-Brennan Project for Constitutional Literacy.

Judges are required to attend one of two training sessions that we are organizing. Email john.gonzalez@yale.edu if you cannot make one of the times, and we will do a separate training for you.
-Wednesday, February 26th, 12:00-1:00 PM in SLB 129
-Thursday, February 27th, 12:00-1:00 PM in SLB 120

We will be discussing judging criteria, logistics for the tournament, the main holdings of the cases being argued, and judge expectations. Pizza will be provided.

Friday, February 28th, 2019
8:30-9:30: Breakfast/Registration
9:30-10:30: Round 1
10:30-11:30: Round 2
11:30-12:30: Round 3
12:30-1:00: Semifinals
1:00 - 1:30: Finals
1:35-1:45: Awards
