Please join us for the second session of the LPE Fall Workshop Series, Economic Governance in a Post-Neoliberal Age: Networks, Platforms, and Utilities (NPU) Law and Other Approaches. Professor Aneil Kovvali, from Cardozo Law School, will present his forthcoming paper theorizing rules against economic discrimination, critical for economic governance and regulatory regimes.
More on the Workshop Series: Rapid technological and economic changes, political uncertainty, and climate change have supercharged longstanding challenges associated with concentrated private power across politics and the economy, raising new and urgent questions for the future of economic governance and our democracy. At the heart of many of these challenges lie industries known as networks, platforms, and utilities (NPUs) — economic sectors crucial for the functioning of the broader economy, such as finance, energy, communications, and transportation. The NPU speaker series will host distinguished scholars as they present their research and new perspectives on tools to regulate NPU industries from finance to AI to energy.
