Description

Martha Davis is Associate Dean for Experiential Education and Professor of Law at Northeastern University School of Law, where she is faculty director of the law school’s human rights program.  Professor Davis has written widely on human rights, social justice, women’s rights, and children’s rights, with scholarly articles in Yale Law Journal, North Carolina Law Review, Fordham Law Journal, NYU Review of Law & Social Change, and others.  She is co-editor of Global Urban Justice: The Rise of Human Rights Cities (Cambridge 2016), and is co-author of Human Rights Advocacy in the United States (West 2018), a law school textbook now in its second edition. Before entering academia, Professor Davis served as the vice president and legal director of the NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund.
