Rita Ren, the first female general manager of Diageo China, is a trailblazer in China’s business world. Her career thus far in several major Chinese and global companies led her to be named a Fortune China 2024 “Most Powerful Woman” nominee and 2025 Tiger Roar “Person of the Year.” This event, moderated by YLS student Albert Wang ’27, will provide a rare chance to meet a prominent Chinese businesswoman, who will talk about a career path that has taken place among rapidly changing businesses and laws, enormous economic, cultural, and geopolitical changes, and an unprecedented global economy. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from the University of Hong Kong.
