Times Wang is a law firm founder, civil litigator, and plaintiff’s attorney. He specializes in bringing civil cases in U.S. Courts at the intersection of technology, finance, and human rights, including alleged infringements of free speech by U.S. and Chinese tech companies. Since 2023, Times has been the founding partner of Farra and Wang PLLC. Previously, Times founded North River Law PLLC, a human-rights-focused litigation boutique. Previously, he was a litigator at Cohen Milstein and Irell & Manella for over a decade. His past work includes:
- Representing Chinese dissidents in a lawsuit against the Yahoo Human Rights Fund for alleged fiduciary mismanagement.
- Xu Lun v. Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. and Techtronic Industries Company Limited (E.D. Wis.): alleged forced labor case on behalf of a former Chinese political prisoner against Techtronic industries.
- Citizen Power Initiatives for China, et al. v. Tencent America LLC, et al. (Cal. Super. Ct.): a case on behalf of California WeChat users against Tencent for alleged censorship and surveillance.
- Mari Kusada, et al. v. Jialin Niu, et al. (Wash. Super. Ct.): represented investors suing alleged Chinese Ponzi-scheme investors in real estate trusts.
- Jie Qiao v. People’s Republic of China (D.D.C.): brought transnational torts claims regarding alleged assault on U.S. soil committed by Chinese embassy personnel.
