The Chae Initiative in Private Sector Leadership welcomes William “Bill” Macey ‘78, co-founder and senior partner of Sterling Investment Partners, a middle-market private equity firm based in Greenwich, CT focused on business services and distribution businesses. As co-founder, Bill Macey will share how he came to founding the investment firm after a career that started in the practice of corporate law. He will also share his views on taking career risks and pivoting from law to finance, and how one can best position oneself for such career opportunities and how to build necessary skills and competencies for finance and buy-side roles.
