Description

Join NYU's Becca Franks and Jennifer Jacquet for a look at the global state of fisheries and aquaculture, potential inroads for animal welfare, and making progress toward seeing seafood as animals. They will discuss a number of their ongoing projects, including arguments to end high seas fishing, the case against octopus farming, a systematic review of the state of welfare research in global aquaculture production, and positive emotions in fish.
