Join Dana Remus ’02, Former Assistant to the President and White House Counsel, and Professor Cristina Rodríguez ’00, Leighton Homer Surbeck Professor of Law and Faculty Director of the Ludwig Program in Public Section Leadership, for a conversation on leadership in the public sector.  
 
Dana Remus was Assistant to the President and White House Counsel in the Biden-Harris administration from January 2021 to July 2022, and General Counsel to the Biden presidential campaign from April 2019 to January 2021. Prior to that, she was General Counsel of the Obama Foundation and the personal office of President and Mrs. Obama, and Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Counsel for Ethics during the Obama-Biden administration. Previously, she was Professor of Law at the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she specialized in legal and judicial ethics and the regulation of the legal profession. She clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr. and Judge Anthony J. Scirica of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Remus was an Associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.  She graduated from Yale Law School and Harvard College.
