The ABA M&A Committee is sponsoring its third mock negotiation competition (MAC Cup III) this academic year, where finalists from various law schools will compete virtually over the fall semester and participants gather for the invitational in Laguna Beach, CA on January 29-30, 2026. The Chae Initiative is pleased to support Yale Law School student teams who participate this year; this includes round-trip travel and lodging for participating teams. The winners of the MAC Cup III will enjoy a trophy belt, plus a cash prize. The Chae Initiative will host this virtual info session with Joel Greenberg ’73, Senior Counsel, Arnold & Porter, who serves on the M&A Committee and who will coach selected YLS teams. This competition is only open to 2Ls and 3Ls. Students who applied or participated last year may participate again. APPLICATION DEADLINE: Teams must submit their application to the ABA M&A Subcommittee by Friday, September 26.
