As technology enables police forces to use new tools and methods to detect and investigate crimes, both in the offline and online worlds, traditional law enforcement is beginning to adapt accordingly. With a glimpse to the near and far future of technology, these tools and methods are expected to make a drastic change in criminal enforcement, while also potentially expanding the scope of criminal activities.
