Paul Tsai China Center Zhijun Hu founded China’s Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) to help members of China’s LGBTQ community come out to their families. PFLAG has supported thousands of parents on their journey toward affirming their children and has played key roles in anti-discrimination impact litigation and advocacy for same-sex marriage in China.
