John R. Raben/Sullivan & Cromwell Fellowship Lecture: Josh Lerner

Josh Lerner delivered the John R. Raben/Sullivan & Cromwell Fellowship lecture titled “The Government as Investor in an Era of Great Power Competition” on Feb. 9, 2026.

Lerner is the Jacob H. Schiff Professor of Investment Banking at Harvard Business School. His research focuses on venture capital and private equity organizations, as well as innovation policy. He co-directs the Harvard Business School Private Capital Project and was recently recognized as one of the 40 most influential economists worldwide by ScholarGPS and research.com.
