Events and conferences at the cutting edge of health law and policy are held every month of the academic year, including a series of events focused on domestic health policy and health care issues, driven in part by the passions of interested students. - September 11, 2019, “Disability and Mental Health Policy Going into 2020: Regulation, Litigation, and Advocacy,” a panel discussion on disability and mental health policy
- September 26 & 27, 2019, "The Affordable Care Act at 10," a landmark conference on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) hosted jointly with the Healthcare Transformation Institute at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine
- October 15, 2019, “Rights Come to Mind: Brain Injury, Neuroethics and Disability Law,” a lecture by Joseph Fins, M.D, cohosted by the Yale Health Law and Policy Society
- October 17, 2019, a debate featuring author Alex Berenson and Dr. Peter Grinspoon, about long-term cannabis use and what, if any, connection it has to mental illness and violence, cohosted by the Justice Collaboratory
