Ashley Anderson is a visiting clinical lecturer in law, an associate research scholar in law, and a staff attorney in the Veterans Legal Services Clinic at Yale Law School. She was previously the Lyon Chair in Professional Ethics at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, where she taught ethics and philosophy courses to cadets. Prior to her work at the academy, Anderson was an associate at Williams & Connolly, LLP. She clerked for Judge Diane P. Wood on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
While attending Yale Law School, Anderson interned in the Veterans Legal Services Clinic, where she represented veterans in discharge upgrade proceedings and federal litigation, developed case strategies, and lobbied legislators. Prior to law school, Anderson served for seven years on active duty as an Air Force intelligence officer, during which time she served as the lead for intelligence teams in Iraq and Kuwait, and as an instructor of philosophy and executive officer. Anderson earned her B.S. at the U.S. Air Force Academy, an M.A. from The University of Texas at Austin, and a J.D. at Yale Law School.
