Katherine Chou is a senior undergraduate studying neuroscience, with a focus on how emerging technology impacts individuals and society. She has worked with the State Department on technology policy education, contributed to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s AI incidents database, and researched technology policy at the American Enterprise Institute. She also conducts research on the semiconductor supply chain and U.S.-China AI competition, and she is interested in how policy and federal funding shape technological innovation and application. She will join the Congressional Budget Office, evaluating the cost of legislation and their economic effects, particularly in areas related to technology, natural resources, and infrastructure.
