Liang Chen is a Resident Fellow at Yale Law School’s Information Society Project. His research explores the intersection of law and technology, transnational law, and comparative law, with a particular emphasis on cross-border data flow regulations and economic sanctions.
Liang holds a Ph.D. (Legal Theory) from Peking University Law School, a J.D. (U.S. Law) and a J.M. (P.R.C. Law) from Peking University School of Transnational Law, and an LL.B. from Beijing Normal University Law School. Previously, he worked as a research assistant at the European University Institute and the WZB Berlin Social Science Center.
