Michael Solender is a visiting lecturer in law at Yale Law School and global vice chair and general counsel of Ernst & Young. He has served as general counsel of The Bear Stearns Companies, general counsel of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, and a partner with the law firm of Arnold & Porter. He is a graduate of Columbia University and Yale Law School, where he was senior editor of The Yale Law Journal.
