Osman Gazi Güçlütürk

Dr. Osman Gazi Güçlütürk is an Assistant Professor of IT Law at Galatasaray University Faculty of Law and an Affiliated Fellow at Yale Law School’s Information Society Project. He earned his LLB, LLM, and MJur degrees from Galatasaray University, the London School of Economics, and the University of Oxford, and completed his PhD at Galatasaray University. His doctoral thesis was awarded Best Thesis of the Year by Türkiye’s Council of Higher Education in 2022.

Before rejoining Galatasaray University, Dr. Güçlütürk served as Assistant Professor of IT Law at Boğaziçi University and as Legal and Regulatory Lead at Holistic AI, a London-based AI audit firm spun off from University College London. His research and teaching focus on technology law and policy, with a particular emphasis on AI governance. Beyond academia, he contributes to global policy-making as an AI Expert for the OECD, an Observer Representative at the Council of Europe’s Committee on Artificial Intelligence (CAI), and a member of several international advisory groups.”
